Mr. Arul was called to the English Bar in 1997 and to the Singapore Bar in 1999. Mr. Arul founded Arul & Co in 2002. Since its inception, the firm handled and was exposed to a broad range of areas of practice including family, civil criminal, and commercial matters. As a litigator from the outset of his practice, he has been exposed to different kinds of court matters that required Mr. Arul to advise clients prudently without having to incur unnecessary costs and/or further damage their own case or defence.

Besides his litigation exposure, as a sole proprietor for more than 10 years, he has been exposed to a wide range of solicitor’s work including conveyancing and drafting of documents and agreements.

In line with the passion to assist the less privileged, Mr. Arul has been on the Legal Aid panel for more than 10 years and also offers pro-bono legal advice to Family Service Centre. He was awarded by the Law Ministry for his contribution to the ministry.
